A Sail That Will Change The Way you Sail
There is nothing worse than sailing in zero to five knots of breeze. Six to ten is better but it can still be frustrating for larger, heavier displacement boats. And it seems we experience these conditions more often than not. The Genoa Turbocharged "The Generator" is a new sail that is affordable, simple to use and requires no special hardware whatsoever. Designed for winds up to 12 knots, "The Generator" is a radial genoa built in 1.50 oz. spinnaker cloth. It can be ordered in your choice of colors and is available in two sizes (150% & 165%). It is incredibly easy to use and does not require hanks or a furling system. Just a spare halyard and sheets. Since "The Generator" is a free-flying sail that has the same dimensions of a traditional genoa, special attention to the luff was needed. Our Linear Luff technology provides for a strengthened leading edge that eliminates the need for a metal cable or bulky thick rope running through the sail.
